Trevor Shults, an owner and partner with the project, said he's opening three separate restaurants in the Ochsner Building near St. Rose of Lima Park. He's planning a taco-centered venue, an Irish pub and an unnamed venue that's still being fine-tuned.
The venues will fill space previously occupied by a variety of venues, most notably Three Monkeys. Most of the space has been vacant for at least two years. (Click through photos on this page to get a glimpse of the existing interior.)
The project is within a block of Golden 1 Center and across the street from the massive 700 K redevelopment project now underway by developers Bay Miry and Ali Youssefi. It covers about 14,000 square feet of commercial space, including patio seating areas. It will employ about 120 people.
